(TITC) - On 19th January, in Ha Noi, Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu attended an online meeting with the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to discuss plans and activities in the national tourism event of Visit Vietnam Year 2022 to submit to the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Earlier on 30th December 2021, at the closing ceremony of the event of Visit Vietnam Year 2022 in Ninh Binh Province, Quang Nam Province received the rotating flag to host the Visit Vietnam Year 2022. This is a great opportunity for Quang Nam Province to display the local tourism potential to domestic and international friends and is likewise considered as a key activity of the Quang Nam tourism industry in 2022.
At the meeting, both sides have agreed on a number of tasks to be implemented in the near future. As a means of carrying out the plan on schedule with the opening ceremony to take place on 25th March 2022 at Memory Island, Hoi An City; it is crucial to promptly complete the official logo of the Visit Vietnam Year 2022; Establishing the Steering Committee, the Organising Committee for the Visit Vietnam Year 2022; holding a Press conference to announce events and activities; Unifying with localities participating in the Visit Vietnam Year 2022 on implemented activities..

The Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism side shared their desire that VNAT will further support the Province in promotion, communication and advertising activities on digital platforms, International tourism fairs, and at the same time organise fam trip, press trip delegations to Quang Nam Province to inspect and experience activities, services organised in the Visit Vietnam Year 2022 and connect with airlines to support Quang Nam in transportation activities.
Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu highly appreciated the active participation of Quang Nam Province in the preparation of tourism activities in the Visit Vietnam Year 2022. He emphasised that as The Visit Vietnam Year 2022 is a huge event that brings great joy to the world, the preparation will take place in the whole year of 2022. It is required to be active, proactive, flexible and safe, inspiring and spreading to industries, localities and businesses. The opening ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2022 takes place at the perfect time in the context that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will consult relevant ministries and sectors to have a proposal submitted to the Government on the official opening of international tourism on 30th April 2022.
