(TITC) - On 3rd February, in the framework of ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2023 in Indonesia, Mr. Ha Van Sieu – Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) chaired the Press conference to announce Vietnam tourism recent circumstance to international media reporters.

Accordingly, Viet Nam has fully re-opened to foreign travelers from March 15th, 2022. Now, Vietnam offers favorite facilitation for tourists as visa exemption for 24 countries/territories, restoring immigration measures and procedures as before the COVID-19 pandemic, applying e-visa for 80 countries/territories. Thanks to the favorable reopening policy, Vietnam tourism has recovered and achieved encouraging results with 3.66 million international visitor arrivals in 2022, up 23.3 times higher compared with the year of 2021.
VNAT’s Vice Chairman informed that major products of Vietnam tourism are beaches, nature-based, culture, city breaks. And supplementary products are adventure, wellness, family, luxury and golf. Binh Thuan Province (in the South Central Coast Region) will be host of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 – Green tourism comes together.
In 2022, Vietnam tourism has received many awards given by World Travel Awards, such as: World’s Leading Heritage Destination, Asia's Leading Destination, Asia's Leading Natural Destination, Asia's Leading Culinary Destination and Asia’s Best Golf Destination. In particular, for the third times, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism won the title Asia's Leading Tourism Board.

At the press conference, representative of Binh Thuan Department of Tourism presented Binh Thuan tourism. Binh Thuan Province has the advantages of geographical location, climate, landscape, and culture resources. Up to now, there are 600 resorts and hotels, 1000 tourism apartments.
