(TITC) - The Times of India published an article revealing 7 Vietnamese destinations that can be considered as absolute tourist magnets, including Ha Long Bay, Ha Noi, Hue, Hoi An, Sa Pa, Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta.
According to The Times of India, Vietnam is a fascinating country with breathtaking landscapes, historic sites, and rich culture.
Ha Long Bay was called "the jewel of northern Vietnam" by the Times of India. The bay is famous for its emerald waters and towering limestone mountains, and is a paradise for those who want to explore nature. Tourists should explore Ha Long Bay on a cruise and participate in activities such as kayaking, cave exploration or swimming on secluded beaches for an unforgettable experience.

Ha Noi, a vibrant city where ancient traditions and modern life coexist harmoniously. Tourists can visit the Old Quarter with its narrow streets to understand more about the past of this place. Street food stalls or the peaceful Hoan Kiem Lake also contribute to the unique charm of Ha Noi.

Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, is also named on the list. Visitors can explore local sites such as the Forbidden Purple Citadel, the grand Imperial Palace, and numerous royal tombs which are scattered across the lush landscape.

Hoi An was praised by The Times of India for its well-preserved and idyllic atmosphere. The city is famous for its lantern-lit streets, traditional wooden houses and bustling markets. Hoi An offers a glimpse into old Vietnam, blending many architectural styles both domestic and foreign. Once in the ancient town, visitors should visit the Japanese Covered Bridge (or Pagoda-Bridge), stroll along the Thu Bon River and enjoy the specialties of banh mi and cao lau.

Another famous destination is Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam's most cosmopolitan city. Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park in Quang Binh is loved for its vast cave system and beautiful stalactites. The Times of India recommended that visitors take time to explore the cave systems and stunning karst landscapes. Son Doong Cave, the most famous attraction worldwide, the world’s largest cave by volume, which features its own ecosystem and weather system. Other notable Vietnamese caves include Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave, both of which are renowned for their impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
