Nestled in Ba Trang Commune, Ba To District, approximately 60 kilometers away from Quang Ngai City’s center, Bui Hui Plateau offers an unspoiled oasis amidst Quang Ngai Province’s vast forests and mountains. Perched at an altitude of nearly 700 meters above sea level, the plateau boasts a refreshing and pleasant climate.
The journey to Bui Hui Plateau from the city center takes about an hour, leading travelers along a winding and occasionally bumpy road that meanders through rolling hills. The best time to explore Bui Hui Plateau is during the summer and autumn seasons. In particular, May and June mark the blooming season of myrtle flowers, with their vibrant purple petals adding a striking contrast to the pristine mountains and forests, enhancing the area’s serene beauty. Bui Hui is also home to the H’re ethnic minority group in Ba To District, renowned for their captivating gong performances, a national intangible cultural heritage. This provides tourists with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture and savor the cuisine unique to the region.
