Chris Dwyer, a reporter of news channel CNN, has introduced eight of the nation’s hottest new hotels where visitors can lay their heads at a range of prices and styles.
According to Dwyer, Vietnam, which is one of renowned chef Anthony Bourdain's favourite countries, represents one of Asia's best value destinations.
He noted that nation has relaxed arrival rules for international travelers as visitors are beginning to return.
Therefore, the CNN reporter has compiled a list recommending eight of the country’s new hotels to visitors who wish to visit.
Regent Phu Quoc

According to Dwyer, the Regent Phu Quoc sits on Long Beach on the southern island and offers 176 suites and 126 villas amid tranquil and tropical surroundings with views over the ocean and the resort's lagoons.
There are a total of six restaurants and bars in the hotel, including Rice Market, which celebrates the local cuisine of Southern Vietnam, Oku, which joins Japan and France in an homage to wagyu beef, or the cheekily named Fu Bar for gin-focused cocktails around a pool terrace.
Wink Hotel Saigon Centre

Opened back in 2021, Wink Hotel Saigon targets a young Vietnamese demographic for whom authenticity is everything.
The CNN reporter noted that Wink values the culture of famous local street food in the form of "Wink Carts" for easy breakfasts and lunches, while guests are guaranteed a 24-hour stay regardless of check-in time, unlimited à la carte breakfast, and free passes to a co-working spaces.
Maia Resort Quy Nhon

Dwyer said that the southern Vietnamese coastal resort city of Quy Nhon may be largely unfamiliar to international travelers now, but that looks set to change following the opening of sites such as Maia Resort, a destination which is especially keen to attract foodies.
The 94-villa property sits amid a beautiful wide and long sandy beach, where colourful local fishing boats bob round Phuong Mai Bay.
“They bring in a catch that the resort's chefs at restaurant Vi turn into excellent renditions of local dishes, as well as familiar global comfort food,” he added.
Anantara Quy Nhon Villas

Anantara Quy Nhon Villas offers 26 sleek one- and two-bedroom villas which are dotted across seven hectares of tropical gardens. Each of the villas overlook a nearby white sand beach and the emerald waves beyond.
“The quiet surrounding province of Binh Dinh inspires an impressive selection of cultural experiences, from ancient pagodas to remarkable Champa Towers which dot the landscape and date from the 12th century. They even offer a hat-weaving workshop, as guests see how Non La conical hats are crafted by hand,” the reporter shared.

Capella Hanoi is a boutique hotel that has 47 bedrooms and was designed by American architect Bill Bensley to celebrate the world of opera.
When staying in the hotel, visitors are served by "Capella Culturists" who act as guides for guests in order to ensure that they get the most out of their stay in the city, including immersive experiences featuring landmarks such as the Temple of the Jade Mound and the capital’s French Quarter.
Azerai Ke Ga Bay

According to the CNN, located 180 km east of Ho Chi Minh City, Azerai Ke Ga Bay resort is a hugely popular destination for weekend escapes.
The secluded ocean-front property is enviably located on a white sand beach that stretches for five kilometres and overlooks Ke Ga island and its lighthouse which dates back to French colonial times.

Alma resort sits amid 30 hectares and offers a wide range of amenities for guests staying in its 580 suites and pavilions, all of which face Long Beach.
There are roughly twelve swimming pools, a 70-seat cinema, a science museum, karaoke rooms, and a waterpark inside the resort.

Radisson Hotel Danang is located on My Khe Beach and has a total of 182 rooms and suites which feature views over the city, peninsula, and sea.
The CNN reporter added that up on the 21st floor, a terrace bar adjoins a dramatic infinity pool so guests can capture moments at sunset, while there's also a telescope for would-be stargazers to scan the skies.
