15km northwest of Da Nang, the Luong Stream-Hai Van Park eco-tourism resort is situated near the southern end of the Hai Van Tunnel, in Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District. In addition, you will be also fascinated with the many hand-carved elephants and turtles along a stream. These sculptures were made by the marble carvers from the Non Nuoc stone carving village.
The Hai Van Park is breathtaking, and because of its amazing landscapes it is a perfect place to relax and have fun. These include My Quang (Quang noodles), Banh Nam (rice dumpling wrapped in banana leaf), Banh Uot (wet cakes), Banh Loc (steamed clear tapioca cakes in banana leaves) and Banh Beo (tiny round-cakes).
In addition, the Hai Van Pass climbing trail fulfils the dream of every amateur and serious climber who wants to seek the thrill of adventure. The Hai Van Pass is like a giant dragon, and it is considered to be the largest frontier post in Viet Nam. It is named “De Nhat Hung Quan” (the most colossal frontier post), which is engraved on an incense burner in the Thai Temple.
