(TITC) – Responding to Hue Festival 2023, in the night of 26 March, "Hue Summer Festival 2023" was kicked off with the Carnival “Tourism Colors” on Hai Ba Trung Pedestrian Street. This is the starting activity for the series of festivals and events of the Thua Thien Hue tourism sector in 2023.

This activity aims to bring a joyful atmosphere for tourism businesses to prepare to welcome the summer tourist season in Thua Thien Hue, and at the same time create a media effect to attract tourists.
The event gathered nearly 300 participants including students from universities and artists from semi-professional and professional dance troupes, who dressed up and performed typical costumes of source tourist markets of Thua Thien Hue such as: Thailand, Japan, South Korea, French, Russian, costumes of local ethnic groups in the province and other regions in Vietnam.
Following this festival, a series of events will be organized to implement to stimulate tourism demand in Thua Thien Hue within the framework of Hue Festival 2023, including:
The hot air balloon festival "Hue - The beauty of the ancient capital" and entertainment and culinary activities will take place from April 10-20 at Ham Nghi yard (23 Thang 8 Street) and Sports Center of Thua Thien Hue Province (Ha Huy Tap Street).
Hue Lotus Cuisine Festival 2023, from May 18-20, at Tu Tuong Park, Le Loi Street, Hue City.
Hue HipHop Festival 2023, from June 24-25, at Thuong Bac Park, Tran Hung Dao Street, Hue City.
Hue Lion Festival 2023, from September 16-17, at Nghinh Luong Dinh yard, Le Duan Street, Hue City.
Hue health care tourism week, expected in November 2023, will take place at a number of health care centers and resorts in the province.
In addition, during the 9th Hue Traditional Craft Festival Week - 2023 under the theme "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Crafts (from April 28 to May 5, 2023), "Street Food Week - 2023" will be held from April 22 to 28, 2023 at the pedestrian street behind Azerai La Residence Hotel and Hue Academy of Music.
