The Yen Tu Spring Festival takes place in the first 3 lunar months of the year. Yen Tu is the land of Buddha, the major Buddhist centre of the country, the festival is scattered all year round, peaking during the festival season in the first 3 lunar months of spring.
After 2 years of hiatus, the Yen Tu Spring Festival 2023 will be kicked off on the 10th day of the first month of the year of Cat (i.e. 31st January 2023) at Festival Centre - Truc Lam Palace (Thuong Yen Cong Commune, Uong Bi City). This year’s festival includes parade processions, offering ceremonies, with spiritual rituals such as: sound the drums, bell ringing, New Year's blessing ceremony, ceremony to pray for national peace, Yen Tu sacred seal ceremony…
After the solemn ceremony, this year's festival promises to bring visitors a new, joyful and excited spring atmosphere with many special activities such as: The night of the lantern festival to pray for national peace and prosperity; performing arts, dragon and unicorn dance, traditional martial arts performance; Folk games; performing traditional arts in the area of Lang Nuong, Yen Tu; display paintings and photos of the majestic and sacred beauty of Yen Tu; Dao Thanh Y Ethnic cuisine culture at the foot of Yen Tu mountain;...
