(TITC) - Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee announced on 4th July 2023 of the organisation of Quang Nam International Food Festival 2023 under the theme “The land of Quang Nam with the culinary quintessence all over the world”. The Festival is scheduled to take place on 31st August to 3rd September, at An Hoi Statue Garden, Hoi An City.

The festival also promotes the advantage of traditional Quang Nam noodles (Quang noodles, Cao Lau, banh canh ...) in the total product line of Vietnamese dishes reaching the World Record to raise the level, spread the brand to bring the brand of Quang Nam noodle dish to sustainable development, confidently reaching out to the world. The event is a place for businesses, organisations and individuals doing business in tourism and services at home and abroad to meet, exchange and introduce typical products, cuisine, and agricultural products of Quang Nam Province and regions in the country, cultural and culinary exchanges with international friends; Moreover, to promote linkages and cooperation in tourism development among provinces and cities; improve the effectiveness of promotion, connect and attract the attention of media units, investors, tourism businesses and tourists participating in developing Quang Nam tourism products.
The Opening Ceremony of Quang Nam International Food Festival 2023 is scheduled to take place at 7pm on 31st August 2023, at An Hoi Statue Garden, Hoi An City. The programme will be live on QRT channel, livestream on communication platforms of the central press agency and the province's digital platforms, social networks… At the Opening Ceremony, there will be a ceremony to announce the decision to inscribe in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage for Quang noodle processing in Quang Nam Province and launch the Quang Nam Culinary Culture Association.
In the framework of the Festival, the organisation of exhibition space, introducing culture, culinary and tourism, OCOP products with activities "Experience - Stimulate - Shopping" from 16:00 to 22:30 daily at An Hoi Statue Garden, Nguyen Phuc Chu Street, Hoi An City, Quang Nam.
